Dr. Karen Grewal

    Dr. Grewal obtained her Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology in 2005 at the University of Waterloo.
     
    Dr. Grewal completed medical school at the Medical University of the Americas in 2009.
     
    She completed a four year residency in Pediatrics at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2013. She continued as a Consulting Pediatrician in Kingston and as an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University from 2013-2020, where she provided both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care.
     
    Dr. Grewal has always been immensely interested in teaching and training learners at various levels. While in Kingston she was the Pediatric Clerkship Director at Queen’s University. She continues to be involved in the training of pediatric medical students in a clinical setting.
     
    She is interested in a variety of acute and chronic general pediatric issues, and sees patients on a consultation basis. As she grew up in the Brampton, Mississauga, and Toronto areas, she is excited to set up a practice in the communities she has grown up in. In addition to the Bovaird Pediatric Clinic, she also practices at Pediatrics @ Humber College in Etobicoke.

    Dr Grewal is also affiliated with University of Toronto as Assistant Professor in Department of Pediatrics.
